I hadn’t mentioned anything publicly until a Folgers rep confirmed recently that contestants could share their videos. 🙂 Well, after missing the deadline the last time the #Folgers Jingle contest was underway, my husband, Terrence Lewis and I got ours in this time…the morning of the Feb. 27th deadline (lol)…found out about it only days before it was ending! It wasn’t easy…the same week we were working to get it done our hot water heater went out, one of our daughters tested positive for strep throat and the other a couple days or so later broke out into a terrible rash from an allergic reaction….literally all over her body & face! (Tears) Well, we got it uploaded 6 hours before the close of the contest…thank God! Below you’ll find the finished result after pushing through, praying through, tearing up, and laughing at the devil while thanking my Heavenly Father for healing both daughters and strengthening us to get the video completed…hope you enjoy it! Their official rules stated they’d judge on “originality”, “creativity”, “passion” and the overall enthusiasm in the jingle/video. Btw, you had to still use their slogan of “the best part of waking up is Folgers in your cup” at the end. Let us know your honest thoughts…we’re listening. 🙂 Fyi…Grand prize is $25,000 also Country artist #ChrisYoung will be doing a mentoring session with the winners!
